GMP peptide manufacturing means producing peptides under good manufacturing practice controls, with documented purity, identity, and traceability for every batch. At Peptide Foundry that documentation is a Certificate of Analysis covering HPLC purity and mass-spec identity, produced in cGMP-compliant, FDA-registered partner facilities.
Peptides are sold on trust, and trust is a document. We include the COA with every batch as standard, because a purity number you cannot verify is just a marketing claim.

What a complete Certificate of Analysis covers
A Certificate of Analysis is only as good as what it documents. A complete peptide COA records the HPLC purity percentage, the chromatogram itself, the retention time, and the mass-spectrometry molecular weight, from independent analysis. Together those establish two separate facts: how pure the material is, and that it is the correct molecule.

Two tests
Purity and identity are different questions
Purity asks how much of the sample is the target peptide, and it is measured by high-performance liquid chromatography. A minimum of 98% is the accepted industry standard, with premium lots at 99% or higher. Identity asks whether the molecule is the one you ordered, and only mass spectrometry answers it, by measuring the exact molecular weight against the target sequence.
A supplier that reports one without the other is answering half the question. Every Peptide Foundry batch answers both, on the same certificate.
Standard, not upsell
Why a COA included beats a COA as an add-on
Some manufacturers quote a low unit price and then charge for the Certificate of Analysis, or provide a generic specification sheet in place of batch-specific results. That inverts the point of testing. If the COA is optional, the default batch is unverified, and the number on the label is a promise rather than a measurement.
We include the batch-specific COA as standard on cosmetic, collagen, and custom-synthesis production alike. Partner facilities are FDA-registered and operate to cGMP, and material is lyophilized for stability measured in years rather than weeks.

What certifications do your facilities hold?
Manufacturing runs in FDA-registered partner facilities operating to cGMP. We keep that phrasing precise, because the precision is the point: the registration belongs to the facility and not to us, FDA registration is a fact about a facility and not FDA approval, and we do not claim a certification mark of our own that we cannot hand you a certificate number for.
What is the difference between HPLC purity and mass-spec identity?
HPLC purity measures how much of the sample is the target peptide, with a minimum of 98% as the industry standard. Mass-spec identity confirms the molecule is the correct one, by measuring its exact molecular weight. Purity without identity, or identity without purity, only answers half the question.
Is the Certificate of Analysis included?
