Research use only
For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption, clinical, veterinary, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
This page describes our laboratory synthesis lane. It is written for research buyers, and it exists to set expectations before anyone contacts us.

Peptide Foundry runs a laboratory lane alongside its consumer manufacturing lines. In this lane we synthesize research-grade peptides to a sequence the researcher supplies, and we ship them labeled for laboratory research use only. These are materials for the bench. They are not dietary supplements, not cosmetics, and not consumer products of any kind.
Our research buyers are analytical chemists, academic and commercial laboratories, and formulators who need a characterized reference material with paperwork behind it. What they have in common is a bench and a research question, not a patient.
Research-grade peptides are unapproved new drugs under United States law. They have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness in people, and they cannot be sold as food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or any other consumer product. We supply them only to laboratories and qualified researchers, for in-vitro and other non-human research work.
A "research use only" or "not for human consumption" label states the material's regulatory status. It is not a mechanism for selling an unapproved drug to the public, and it does not turn a consumer transaction into a lawful one. Regulators weigh the full context of how a product is marketed, not one line of small print. So we are direct about it: we do not sell these peptides to consumers, we do not attach human dosing or administration instructions, and we do not describe what any of them might do in a person. Full stop.
The regulatory status of individual research peptides is genuinely in motion, and some of it is the subject of active rulemaking. None of that movement creates a consumer or dietary-supplement pathway today, and we do not treat news coverage or pending petitions as permission to sell. When the rules change, our posture changes with them, on the record and not ahead of them.
If your intended use is personal or clinical rather than laboratory research, we are not your supplier, and we will tell you so.
You supply the sequence and the specification: purity target, scale, fill, and format. We handle the chemistry and the documentation, and we do not add anything, on the label or in the box, that implies a human use.
Research is only as sound as the material under it. Every batch is characterized before it ships, and the analytical record ships with it.
The Certificate of Analysis travels with the vial, so the material on your bench matches the record in your notebook.
The same discipline that makes our documentation worth something also sets hard limits.
What we deliberately do not make: GLP-1 drugs (semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide, retatrutide) and other prescription peptides are pharmaceuticals. We do not manufacture, quote, or supply them in any form, to anyone. A manufacturer that offers them as "research chemicals" is telling you how it treats every other rule too.
Laboratories and qualified researchers can reach the synthesis team directly. Tell us the sequence, the purity you need, and the scale, and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we make.
